Tuesday, May 15 is a regular school day and seniors are expected to be at school. Wednesday, May 16 is also a regular school day, except that seniors will be taking their respective exams in the appropriate period (1st & 3rd). Seniors should be in class for 2nd and 4th period for the exam review or to complete any other assignments (regular schedule day). Thursday, May 17 the 2nd and 4th period exams will be given during the respective period. If you need more information, please check the "Spring Exam Schedule" listed below.
PANCAKE DINNER at FLAPJACKS'S
The SCHS Foundation is hosting a Pancake Dinner at Flapjack's Pancake House, 1016 Parkway Sevierville, this Thursday, May 17 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are only $5 per person and include pancakes, beverage and choice of sausage or bacon.
The Foundation has provided $45,350 in scholarships to graduating seniors this year and over $5,000 to Walters State Community College dual enrollment students this year. The Foundation also provided technology equipment to many of the classrooms this year.
Please help support this event so the Foundation can continue their good works! -

- Next year’s students – please remember that SGA elections for next year’s officers will be held in the commons area this Thursday and Friday from 7:15 – 7:45 am and then 3:00 – 3:30 pm. Students must have student ID’s to vote. No ID – No voting – No exceptions!
- Any student planning to take Walters State summer classes need to see Ms. Lakey ASAP.
- Sports Medicine Camp (SMC) at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville on June 20 and 21, 2012: If you are interested in sports medicine, athletic training, or the medical field, this camp would be a great experience for you. Camp will be located in Neyland Stadium. The cost will be $85 which includes lunch, educational materials and instruction as well as a camp t-shirt and CPR certification if desired. CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS
- HOPE FOR HONDURAS - Attention Hope for Honduras Participants! All students participating in set up on all committees need to be at the campground at 10:30 Saturday morning. All performers need to be thee at 11:00 a.m. for sound check. Remember to invite everyone you know – See you Saturday morning!
- "Relay for Life" meeting Wednesday May 16 in room 227. Everyone participating needs to be at this meeting. Bring your permission forms.
- The DECA graduation tassels and stoles are now in. If you want to purchase one. Come by the CTE store or Mrs. Barnett’s room (not 3rd block). The stoles are $12 and the tassels are $6.
- The DECA end of the year party is May 24th after school at the Rule’s house. If you plan on coming, please bring chairs and sports equipment. There will be a pool, so bring swimming apparel. For more information, see a marketing teacher of DECA officer.
- French Club - The end of the year French Club celebration will be Thursday, May 17 after school in Mrs. Webb’s room. Wear your t-shirt, bring your favorite snack to share and we’ll watch a movie and celebrate!
OUR COMMUNITY
- Benefit for the Chambers Family - Dennis and Becky Chambers both work for Sevierville Middle School. Their daughter, Reannon, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma about 2 1/2-3 years ago. They finally have a donor for her. Their insurance will pay for the actual transplant, but not the room to stay in. The room costs $3,250 per month, and they will have to be there approximately 5 months. You may donate money if you wish. Please email: ashleighmusgrove@sevier.org for more details.
